Mel B
Tomo3090 - 2009-12-20 9:16 AM Amazing! Let's slag the place off 8 months before the show has been on! Tabley has several major ourtdoor shows each year. It is about 3 minutes down a major A road from the M6 junction 19. Why not wait until AFTER you've been there before complaining about the venue? Get off your soapbox Tomo! Not slagging off the place it's going to be held at, never been so can't comment on it, but its the fact that it's the NORTHERN show and the new location is not exactly northern is it, not when it's been at York and Pickering. It means that for those of us on the northern side of the M62 there aren't any major shows in our neck of the woods anymore whereas the south (ie south of the M62) seems to have a fair few. It would be nice if the shows were more fairly located so that all round the country so people could get to them without having to travel silly mileages to do so all the time. I appreciate that for the dealers etc there are more below the M62 than above it, so maybe it's to make life easier for them ... I suppose it's a difficult thing to keep everyone happy. :-S
yeti
Her's something else to get your teeth into especially thos eof you who are also boater/sailors/canoeists. The Mersey and Albert dock are going to host a massive boat show probably in 2010. It is said that it may rival the LOndon and Portsmouth shows. More fuel for the numptys. Don't forget it were more or less all done and dusted by t' brief written by Wilson's 1966 government. Tories only tinkered at t' edges when they realised that t' new boundaries were biased towards Labour and moved 'em to their better liking :D >:-) or we could have the Kingdom of Northumbria - from the Humber to the Forth :D Might be reet there - get rid o' Yorksher "riding" roughshod over everybody (lol) >:-) >:-) Graham
