Syd Posted December 15, 2009 Author Posted December 15, 2009 Last night in Benidorm was very windy and cold, today all of the mountains are covered in snow. The sooner they get this "global warming" sorted the better it will be
BGD Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 We live in Spain in Orba, a village about 20 miles north of Benidorm, a little inland from Denia, and we woke up this morning to see........SNOW on the hilltops above our valley! Amazing. Maybe this is why it's called the Costa Blanca..... (Syd - you need to make sure that any piccy you want to upload is less than 100kb in file size....otherwise you get the "internal server error" message and the website won't accept the piccy)
CliveH Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 They predict snow here in the UK by Friday. And I take a friend to Gatwick that day! If it happens I shall be OK on the motorways but the last few miles in the sticks will be interesting. Last time I was out when it snowed I recovered three vehicles that were stuck. Oh the joys of driving a Discovery!! Rather be overwintering in Spain tho guys!!!

Blizzard Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 Survived an interesting 25 mile commute on 2 wheels in the white stuff this evening and the forecast for early next week is looking like there's more on the way. I think I'll be doubling the number of wheels for a little while.
