Tony Jones
We spent last night in our van, outside my brother's house where the available beds were all booked. We'd had a lovely family gathering there and didn't fancy driving home after it. Apparently it was minus 4 outside, but we were fine of course! spospe
We quite often use our 'van as overflow accommodation, especially at this time of year. Plugged into the house mains, it's nice and snug and if there is a power cut, why then it's snugger than the house! :-D
Guest JudgeMental
In the past I've been up in Sweden -20 and 6 feet of snow.....snug as a bug in a rug! :-D As long as the vehicle is equipped for it you should be fine, my old van had ALDE heating which was superb
Travelling Tyke
Pleased you enjoyed a "Chilled night" Tony. Our van is used as overflow accommodation from time to time and, of course, it works well. (We leave it plugged into the mains all the time, fill up with water if required, attending to any waste also if needed. We will be at Thetford Forrest C&CC site for the New Year - Did it 2006/7 and had a very good break. Good way to start the year. We did plan to do it often as possible but......as they say, "Best laid plans etc"....... Had to clear snow away to ensure that we can get back........not essential, but some work has to be done at home! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all.....and......Travel safe.
