We are all members of the Tribby forum http://www.tribby.co.uk/ and have decided to have a meet as they put a face to a name If you are interested have a look at the web site….

The URL is http://rallyhq.co.uk/tributerally10.htm . (You had the full stop too close, which gives a false negative.)

There is obviously a difference in the URL pattern, however I can "see" no difference. Please explain

If you don't leave a gap after a URL, most software interprets the next character(s) as part of it.

 

Thus, in Philip's posting, the URL appears to one's browser as "http://rallyhq.co.uk/tributerally10.htm.". This results in a '404' report (i.e. "The page cannot be found").

 

If you look at what I posted, you'll see I left a space after ".htm".

Thanks Roger it was a cut and paste i should have checked closer before hitting he post Button. Hope you are tucked up Safe and Warm.. We are 800ft up the side of a Welsh Vallley and will not be going any where at the moment. Met Lian and Paul in December looking forward to meeting up with those that have said they will be coming.
