BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show

Well not long to wait, Chris Evans, heh who would have thought it? Anyway I'm glad they have pensioned off Wogan, he was way past his sell by date.

However that said I was wishng to see the back of Jimmy Young and look what we got, bloody boring Jeremy Vine. I'd sooner have JY back any day.

I do really wish we had Johnnie Walker back for the drive time show, he is the best DJ the BBC have ever had bar none.

What chance they will pension off Brucie, now that would be progress.

pensioning off the worst dj on radio ever would be better - maybe I should start a get rid of Steve Wright off Radio petition!

AM looking forward to Chris in the mornings - the drivetime show was fab - you're right though about Walker but RIchard Allison is also very good - not sure about mayo - but time will tell, a bit like EVans!

I quite enjoy bits of Steve Wrights show, but the constant repetition of that dreadful theme music has me reaching for the scan button.

Yes Johnie Walker was the best at drive time, but Wogan was always a class act.

As for Vine - trerrible - really terrible.

Well I think Chris Evans was good today, an interesting change from whimsical Wogan, who was a bit like Marmite, love or hate.

Now can we see the back of Brucie, thats both of them, Ken Bruce and the dancing one.

Mayo could be ok, my thoughts were that Wrighty was the one to move to the drive time slot.

Ohh what a refreshing change to hear people being nice about Chris :-D I really like him and his past shows both on TV and radio.

He went off the tracks for a while but found his way back eventually. I think the money and fame goes to many a head before they find what real life is about and its not at the end of a needle or bottle.

Thanks for this, really made my day :-D

I used to hate Chris Evans - but over the past two or three years he has mellowed considerably into an all-round decent bloke - I have a lot of respect for him now.

Steve Wright though, I always thought he was a ******* and he's still a ********
