Didn't closely examine the chassis but believe it to be based on the latest wide rear track Ford chassis. They're front-wheel-drive versions. Seemed competitively priced too and will be a good rival to Swift's Escape. Apparently the Transit was a Euro 5 engine, but Ford are keeping tight-lipped about it (it's said to be launched in summer). It looked identical to my 09-plate Transit, so who knows.
