Any Northern Ireland MHers? Need service advice.

Hi ALL

If you have had damp in your van and repaired in Northern Ireland can you help me?

 

I need mine repaired and I don't who might do the best job. Can't afford to be ripped off and I love my van too much. Had a couple of quotes but getting different opinions and quite confused.

I don't know if you've tried these guys, I haven't used them personally as I'm only just collecting my first motorhome, but I know a few people who recommend them, and they say on their website their 'Damp Repairs are fully guaranteed'

If you are a member of any of the clubs, they may have a list of approved repairers in N. I.

The problem with damp is that until you start taking the van apart you don,t know how extensive the damage is. And by the time you know you are committed.

So finding a reputable fair repearer is inportant. They can only guestimate initially so ask for a best case scenario and worst case scenario quotation. Make sure you are able to accept the worst case finantially at the outset then anything less is a bonus.

I don't know where you are in NI and I, thankfully, haven't needed damp repaired but I would be looking for a company with a lot of experience of working with motorhomes and well organised and professional looking workshop. Have you considered Donaghy Motorhomes of Letterkenny or perhaps Thompson Leisure of Dromore?
