Mr. Grumpy
I got my new dongle a couple of days ago. It installed without problems on my wife's Acer One Netbook running XP. However trying to install on my Advent 7113 running Vista I get the following error message: "Error 2738. Could not access VBScript run time for custom action". Does anyone have any idea of whats going on. I have never seen this error code before.
bigmoney2
I've got the vodaphone dongle and noticed when installing it (or in the instruction book) that it can only be used on one computer. So that could be the problem. A bit annoying if you have more than one PC. Jules

Mr. Grumpy
Thanks for the link Solway. I did a google search but got lots of information about iTunes! Now I need to know what "Run command prompt as administrator" means and how to do it? As you will now understand I am not computer literate and by now deserve my name! Solwaybuggier
I'm not that literate either - but using an Administrator account (if there's only 1 account on your Windows setup it will be an Administrator account) click on the Start button and select "Run..." (bottom right) - this gives you a prompt in a new window into which you then enter as per the Vodafone forum. (Or at least that's what I'd try - maybe someone more literate can advise further??) Mel B
Not sure if this is the same suggestoin on how to solve it, but if not I suggest contacting Vodaphone as there is no-way it should only be able to be used on one computer, that's just not right. http://forum.vodafone.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=23122

Mr. Grumpy
Thanks for the vodaphone suggestion. I followed the link and got a supposed solution but when applied I just get another error message telling me the "call to Dll register failed with code Ox80004005".
