Brambles
Hi, Are you looking for security as in an Alarm for your Motorhome, or more secure locks, or both? Might also help if you said what type of Motorhome you have, coachbuilt, van conversion, etc.
wilmannie
whatever you decide to get, measure the cost against what you might lose if your van is entetred or stolen when you are away from home. eg we lost our cameras, cash and laptop in a break-in in Spain. :-S
flicka
Hi Jgee & welcome to the forum. I guess you have an Alarm fitted to safeguard the breaking & entering aspect. So assume it is to stop (or at least delay) the M/H being driven off. I have a Security Post to cover this. "Autolok KRP3P Removeable Round Security Post" See http://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/categories/search/vehicle-security though they are available from various sources. Also on the same page is a "Autolok Professional Wheel Clamp" that may be suitable, but check it is big enough for M/H wheel(s). I also qualified for an extra discount on my Insurance by fitting the Post, so it paid for itself in just over 2 years.
malc d
Mine's on the drive so I have a security post and a 'Clutch Claw' which stops the pedals being operated. (They say a determined thief can pinch anything but you can try to put them off ). :-|
