Guest Tracker Posted February 4, 2010 Share Posted February 4, 2010 Failed to work when I dewintered the van today. So after checking the fuse and wiring I took it out and found that it was dead. However not wishing to spend any more than I have to I decided to give the impeller a prod to see if it turned. It didn't to start with but it soon did and on reconnecting it spat out a load of old gunge and thick brown algae and now runs perfectly again. I think the gunge came from some dodgy water we picked up in Morocco but the moral of the story is not to give up on any pump just because it won't seem to work to start with.
