Administrator
Hi all, here's a message from Peter Vaughan, Editor of Which Motorhome magazine (the new name for Which Motorcaravan magazine): Do you own an Adria Compact like the one Which Motorhome magazine has been running on long-term test? If so, we'd love to hear from you with all your experiences, good and bad, why you chose this 'van and whether you'd buy the same vehicle again. Thank you. Tdmer
I almost purchased one in 2008, thought it was a great van, it a shame its only available on a X250 Fiat. I did not want the hassle of clutch and gearbox problems.

brens
Yes I bought a new Adria compact double bed (march2008)not the twin bed, is this the model you are testing , I am a new subscriber. I have a new van (Auto-Trail)on order for March but there was so much I liked about the compact.
net-traveller
It may not be german but before Adria started producing under their own name they made Poessl & Globecar PVCs for the Dethleff group. When they went solo the Poessl & Globecar range were/are produced by the Isny factory.
daveseven
I've had the SP model for 11 months now. Drives really well - especially after gearbox mods - done with no hassle. Added a valve to stop the heater drain dumping ALL the water at 3C. Thetford toilet has never shown level in tank - supplier has agreed to change whole toilet. Minor problem with electrical contacts on habitation door for central locking. Spare central locking key fob £250 - yes - £250. Would advise refillable gas cylinder as heating system eats gas. Have managed to dampen most of the habitation noise but anyone contemplating purchase should pay attention to it on a test drive to see if they can live with it.
