Tomo3090
We have a small 1 litre gas "whistler" for boiling water for rice and pasta or if we have guests over, and a 12 volt half litre one we use when we're just brewing up for ourselves. maggyd
Its a space thing as well as convenience isnt it?? we just take a normal kettle that goes on the gas! if were on hookup I put it on the electric hob, as for closing the glass lid when travelling I put a wrung out wet dishcloth on it if its still warm by the time we move! I wouldnt if it was still red hot but warm it doesnt hurt.
