ALAN G
I picked up a leaflet which now says that there is no fee for ATM withdrawals. However, there is a 2% charge for loading the card either by telephone or Internet But possibly not, if you use a bank. Normally outside UK we take enough cash for the spending that isn't covered by our Nationwide credit card. Is there any monetary/ financial advantage to the Travelex card? Has anyone used one? RoyH
I have used this and still have it with some cash there. Don't take that much notice of the cost as what's a few quid (£2.00 in a hundred say) in the cost of holiday. The service is good and when I first got it I picked it up at the truck stop at Ashford on the M20 on the way to the ferry. This went smoothly and I have no complaints. So I shall use it again this year. I like the security and the fact that you have paid before you go and have no big bills when you come home.
