Has anyone got a Concept Gold Alarm from Keen Electronics and how do you rate it? *-)

never heard of these...if not insurance approved, and cat 1 not sure if a good idea. Check with your insurance company?

Why not contact Dave Newell , he will fit a good alarm , insurance approved and you can stay at a nice campsite just along the road from his workshop

we took the cheap option and had a cobra alarm fitted [cat 1].

 

regretted it now its not up to much, siren not loud, also keeps reverting activation, and sensors poor.

Had a Cobra alarm fitted on an earlier van and not impressed. After numerous problems I contacted an expert and he said that they were made for and really only suitable for cars.

Had a VanBitz fitted on the present van and it's chalk and cheese. When the van was serviced at the main Ford dealer, they triggered the alarm by mistake and chuckled that they were ready to evacuate the workshop because it was so loud.

Thanks for all that - have been in touch with Dave and as soon as we have got a second battery we will get Dave to fit both it and an alarm. (lol)
