Guest JudgeMental
seen this article in the times for a hydrogen powered bike. you produce your own hydrogen with this portable generator that costs £2500. may be an alternative and the answer to fuelling a power source for motorhomes as well..... so in theory in the future you may be able to power your bikes and motorhome http://www.acta-nanotech.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=44&Itemid=173 http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/driving/features/article7050492.ece

I hope that this price comes down eventually as I'd love a bike with that range. And then there's the motorhome angle where perhaps it could do an EFOY for us. If it could be dual purpose, the price starts to look more reasonable.
davenewellhome
The specs quote 100sl/hr. What is an "sl" in normal terms (SI units would be useful) It claims to use only 500W a 240V, that's half a kilowatt, is this really so efficient? Really, what is so terrible about a push bike thatyou only have to pedal? D.

davenewellhome
Interesting that neither of you chose to answer the question about the "sl" unit :-S . I have no problem with E bikes as such but running a 1/2KW hydrogen generator to produce enough hydrogen to propel you for ? many miles is eco friendly? Really? Anyone come up with an answer to the "sl" unit question yet? D.
