flicka Posted March 22, 2010 Share Posted March 22, 2010 Did this years ago (1970's) using a Landrover bonnet mount carrier on the front grill of a Bedford CF. It was useful to have the weight on the front axle. I posted a thread (in 2007) why no one does it anymore. The downside answer is that now vans have electric fans & air bags which the wheel would have a detrimental effect on the Air Bag(s) operation. I suppose it could be used on the rear, but the mounting points could well be an issue on the Motorhome. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
