dawki
Thought I would check the tyre pressure required on my van (AT –SPRINTER). The van plate state tyre pressure for laden vehicle as Front 3.5 Rear 4.5 The owner’s book states (for the axle loadings as stated on vehicle plate) Front 3.0 Rear 5.3 Not sure which one to follow? Brambles
Wow! thats a big difference between plate and manual. This question on tyre pressures comes up a lot. The only real way of knowing is to weigh the axles at a weigh bridge in laden running mode and contact the tyre manufactures for recommended pressures. edit - spelling
Colin Leake
I e-mailed the front and rear axle loading to Micheline and got the recommended pressures back the same day.
tonyishuk
I would think that the plate weights would be the ones that Mr Plod would use if you were unlucky enough to be stopped and weighed, If its a new m/home, I would think the dealer has some expaining to do ? Free weight upgrade ? Rgds
