harry the horse
I have read in the rough guide to France that Boulogne is one those ports worth a look round which I will discover for myself. But has anybody discovered the unofficial aire near the Nautica? Thanks. HTH (>) :-D
Mel B
If you mean the one between Nautica and where the Speedferry used to dock, then it's no longer allowed. the only one I know about there is the one called 'Le Portel', not the place, but the other side of the port where the fish etc are brought in. robertandjean
Hi, For certain no parking now allowed near port. You can park overnight in a couple of car parks on coast road heading out towards Calais (tourist office say O.K.) But we think best is to stay on aire at Le Portel (the place) and catch bus into Boulonge (1€ each way) Old town certainly is worth a visit. Sun still shining here in the Mayenne.
