Mould on Remis blinds

Hello to you all and hope you are enjoying this weather.

 

I wonder if anyone can help regarding the Remis blinds, our windscreen blind, one one side only, has suddenly developed several patches of mould. I think have read of this before on the forum but haven't been able turn up anything on the search facility. Many thanks,

Don't know the age of your Excis, but the original post, as you will see, was 2005.  If your van (or at least the blinds) is of that vintage, and it is the same cause, I'm amazed it has taken until now to show. 

If your van is newer, maybe another duff batch has been supplied, or maybe it is mildew this time!

Thanks Brian for your reply, our van is the last of the old type Fiat's (06) registered in 2007 and it has taken until now for the mould to show up. The description given of the apparent "mould" is exactly what it looks like and it is only on one side of the wind screen blind, I shall contact Remis and see where we go from there.
