Swift Kontiki 665 2006

Shortly after taking delivery of my MH the washroom door fell off and continued to do so until the track became to broken to function.I have since met other owners who have experienced the same problem.Whilst the MH was at the Swift factory having a crack in the roof repaired,I mentioned my problem and they fitted a new track.Unfortunately as my door had been standing in my garage for the last few months when I got home to hang it the track didnt match the door fittings.I have since tried with no success to source the correct track through various dealers.Has any one had this problem and could tell me where to obtain a replacement track.

We have a 2003 610 and have never had a problem with the shower door, but to stop it moving when travelling I have a piece of the sticky type draft excluder that I wedge in the track so there isnt any movement at all, it stops the rattle and is easy removed when I want to use the shower. The only solution I can think of is to source a new door to fit the track from Swift or take it back where they fitted the track and show them your problem.

 

Ive just noticed that is the washroom door not the shower door you are talking about! sorry our door to the washroom doesn't slide its on a hinge.

Thank you for your prompt reply.The problem I have got is that the "pegs" fitted to the top of the door are not compatable with the Track fitted by Swift.I am trying to source a new track and sliders.

The track is hollow square section with a slot along the bottom. The "pegs"are like flat headed mushrooms.Which screw to the top edge of

the door.
