am not sure what to go for dish or dome? will only use it in uk and souther europe the problem is the dome looks like a large wart on the roof ( no offence to anyone who uses it. ) but a dish folds fairly flat. some say a dish can be a problem in windy conditions ( take a trip out for a day without motorhome and a storm comes in could be a problem. ) but the dome is ot affected dy weather so much. oh what to do? IF you are only using it in the uk then a windup crank dish is easy to set up. It is a smaller dish than the automatic 85cm dishs so is less affected by winds.

Or you could go freeview

If your desire is fully automatic then the smaller dome is fine in all weathers.

I have an automatic 85cm dish but on the odd occasion it is windy I revert to terrestial TV or watch recorded programs.

Hi

You won't get a signal for most UK channels with a dome south of Barcelona and in Southern spain the largest roof mounted dish won't get much. The best option would be a Kathrein self-seeking dish which is pretty wind resistant and is fitted with GPS for more accurate satellite location. Before you choose though, speak to someone knowledgable. You could do worse than VanBitz.
