trickydicky
hi, we are going to france for a few weeks and have decided to use our acis book for campsites.the problem is, there are so many sites its hard to choose which ones to stay on. i'm relying on you lot out there to reccomend a few for us,to make our job easier.we have never stayed on a campsite in france before, although we have used a few aires which we found very useful for one night at a time.any suggestions greatly appreciated.we don't want to go further than la rochelle really and would rather be on the coast.thanks. rupert123
Assume you mean ACSI. We have stayed at Le Petit Bois site no. 941, nice clean site, stayed 2009, La Flotte en Re on the lle de Re site no 998, friendly site, very good facilities, slightly chaotic pitches but fine. De l,Etang near Angers site no. 953, nice site with good spacious pitches. Not ACSI but a nice municipal site at Etretat with a good aire next door, also municipal. You can walk into town and their are nice walks along the famous chalk cliffs and if tide is out along the beaches, well worth a day. At all sites English is spoken. Klyne
This might be worth a look http://www.eurocampings.co.uk/en/europe/ as they often have reviews of campsites in the ACSI Book although you have to drill down to find the ones that offer the ACSI discount. Not all reviews are in English. David
