Brock
Colleague of mine has just given up his static van in Wales because the site fees have risen to £3,500 pa. With all the extras including insurance, his 'standing charges' are close to £5,000 pa. With his usage, he reckons it costs him £47 per night. The site is one of those all singing and dancing shebangs although he says the cost of food and drink on-site is high. He's looking to buy a motorhome! art338
The problem with these sites as I see it is that they are not overseen by the same laws that apply to householders or are they?
Andy_C
But still cheaper that the caravan and 'mobile home' camping facility provided for the Tall Ships event at Hartlepool this summer: £50 a night, and not even a hook-up! william1
Just checked the web site - and yes an eye watering £50 a night - caravanners and motorhomers should boycott it - the CC have two sites within easy reach at Stockton and Durham
rolandrat
It's cheaper to go to the Twinwood festival. 3 days of blistering entertainment. See www.twinwoodevents.com
