mikemoss
We have an E695 of the same vintage and are delighted with it. Obviously at that age it's important to check for damp, but the all fibreglass construction with the roof overlapping the sides should have minimised that. We've needed a couple of side windows resealing, but that's it on the habitation side - everything else has been great. On the Fiat side, that model of engine was prone to 5th gear bother although I'm told it's not as expensive to repair as you might think. Worth checking that it holds well in 5th, though. Other than that, it would be prudent to check and double-check that everything is working as it should (heater, water pump etc etc) and that it drives well. Personally, I think these early Bessaccarr motorhomes were well designed and strongly built to last, so if you get a good 'un hang on to it! Good luck.
