lankyharry
Does anyone have any experience of the electric system going down intermittently? We have lent our autocruise sarasota to a couple from NZ and they are having a problem with all the electrics going dead - no alarm, ignition, radio etc. The battery is OK, and the fault is intermittent. What we don't know is whether the fault is in a wire or in a relay. The van is only 3 yrs old
euroserv
Hello, If this is an X250 I have no idea, if it is a 2002 to 2006 model, there are a number of possible faults that we have seen. Please advise. Nick
747
If the radio is dead as well, I would start at the battery terminals as there should be a live feed from the battery and the radio should work (for 20 minutes at least)
Mr. Grumpy
Some years ago we had an intermittent total electrical failure, no dash lights, radio or ignition. The cause turned out to be a break in the negative earth cable but it was difficult to find because it was hidden by the plastic outer. Try moving the cable and see if any lights flash on & off.
