meddyliol
This has probably been asked before, if so, I cannot find it so apologies in advance. Are the Gaslight bottles (from homebase etc) any good for motorhomes? If so, where can the adapters be had? I would have thought that if they are, the weight benefit would be good. Another question on gas cylinders, I have a fixed tank but will be using exchange cylinders as backup. My brother-in-law said that an adapter can be fitted to the exchange bottle to allow it to be refilled. Is this fact or is he making it up? Thanks Brian B-)
Ocsid
If it physically fits it can be used. You simply need a 27mm "clip-on" adaptor, or one that is a regulator depending on your gas system, available from good outlets. Yes you can get adaptors to enable re-filling of exchange bottles, though I have not seen one directly suitable for 27 mm clip-on bottles. BUT no responsible organisation or informed individual would condone the use of these DIY filling adaptors.
meddyliol
OK, thanks for that. I consider myself responsible so will not try refilling an exchange type bottle. Cheers Brian B-)
