P E Jennings
We have not used Dover - Calais crossing for some years & wonder if anyone can tell us if it is still possible to overnight on the front. I think it might be classed as Prince of Wales Quay. Many thanks

Tony Jones
Yes, we still use it regularly - behind the Premier Inn. Before we discovered this we did once use the rooftop car park above the passenger terminal, but it cost (then) £8 a night and lorries were trundling past all night - nevermore! P E Jennings
Many thanks for the replies & information. We are on the 08:00am ferry so this spot will be ideal for us.
Cattwg
Down the hill into Dover and turn right at the roundabout by the garage – over the raising bridge (we have never seen it up) and then left. This brings you to the rear of the hotel and other buildings. We used it earlier this year and where one of about six ‘vans (and two caravans). The police past twice during the evening. :-D Cattwg
ron.
Have you thought of changing your sailing time so as to go over in the previous evening? You can then use the Calais Dock car park among dozens of others doing the same thing. Advantages are that the crossing is behind you the next morning, its usually cheaper and you have saved an hour on GMT.
