skyrider
Hi does anyone have any idea how much a transit legend auto-sleeper four berth would have cost in 1998 8-)
Mel B
Hi :-D The only person who I think might know on here is uncle 'Derek Uzzell' ... he's a walking library!!! No doubt he'll be along at some point! Failing that, try getting in touch with the Auto Sleepers Owners club. I'm intrigued to know why you want to know though! :-S

Guest Tracker
From memory I believe a Boxer based Talisman was about £22k in that era and the Transit Legend was a bit bigger and more costly so at a guess - around £25k ish - plus any extras like awning and maybe even space heating and hot water if it uses mains as well as gas? But I'll bet a shilling that Derek will know exactly!
brom
According to MMM's Buyer's Guide for October 2000 (the earliest issue I can find), the Legend then cost £37,349 - not cheap! Excelsior and Amethyst are said to be another £30. The (then new) Ravenna, Pescara and Pollensa on Transit chassis cost £29 -30K. Brom
Robinhood
£36,656 at the start of 1998, £36,805 from Sept. (I'm one of the sad people who still has MMM from when I started buying it!).
