There has been a recent post on this forum and the general consensus seems to be that they are not necessary yet, but as the driver it is your responsibility to conform with the law. Depends on which 'general consensus' you look at ;-) It seems to me that the regulations requiring speed stickers to be fitted apply only to vehicles registered in the countries making the regulations.
