chas
Have just read that the Dover to Boulogne ferry service for passengers and vehicles will cease on 5th September. I believe it used to be able to take small motorhomes, not very tall. The port of Boulogne always seems to lose its trade which is a shame, its far less hectic than Calais. ian81
This was reported here a couple of days ago!! See http://www.outandaboutlive.co.uk/forums/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=20707&posts=1I think you are referring to the previous operator -Speed Ferries- from Boulogne as LD carried everything including 44 ton artics. Use LD in late July and they had just opened up a new terminal down near the old hoverport so feel sure that the port will be trying to get its money back by encouraging someone to sail from there.
