kelly58
We are soon to pick up our new Peugeot based motorhome can anyone tell me the extent of the 1st year breakdown assistance cover for the UK and Europe as I see no point in taking out insurance cover with breakdown included if sufficiant cover is tagged on to the new vehicle warranty. passionwagon
8-) The Peugeot assistance does not cover tyre change, running out of fuel nor lockouts. It is solely for warranty related defects. However you can upgrade directly with their breakdown service for £35 (when I did in 2007) The service book clearly describes what you get. ;-)
kelly58
I have had quotes for insurance for the new motorhome Saga no breakdown cover £252 Safeguard £284 with extra benefits plus breakdown cover so for the extra £32 its worth it for full peace of mind. I only wish we had used Safeguard instead of Fiat Camper (we do not )Care when we broke down in France this year.
