Guest pelmetman
Just had new tyres today, had the same Hankooks 195/14 put on again as they seem to last so well. The old tyres must of been over 10 years old, but no sign of cracking. I had one put to the spare as that was 20 years old (never used), it was older than the lad who changed it (lol). I overheard the lad ask one of the others if these tyres were going to scrap? the reply was no 8-) So I wonder what will happen to my 4 tyres with a collective age of over 50 years (?) I noticed when I got back they had still charged me for disposal >:-(
Guest pelmetman
Bleedin Tropical *-) >:-) I put a new set of tyres on in the morning and in the evening I read in MMM that some Hankooks are being recalled :-S Have been on their website and although mine are RA08's they are 195/14 and the effected tyres are 195/16. It does not your confidence in the tyres though *-)
