Tony Jones Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 ... but "Baby" (my 1968 Mini Automatic) is no longer earning her keep - modest though that is since she's tax-exempt. So if anyone knows of someone who might like to buy her, PM me and I'll give you a link to a page where there IS an advert :-D Tony
Guest Tracker Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Have you had a look at values in a Classic Car magazine Tony as early Minis can make very good money to the right buyer?
Guest JudgeMental Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Go on den :D surely buying a car for your young uns from a vicar has to be a safe bet *-)
Guest Tracker Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Gotta be a better bet than an ex Popemobile surely - less abuse maybe? Go on Tony - post the link - as all of us that did much courting in a mini will appreciate the nostalgia!

nowtelse2do Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 If it's as good as it looks Tony, and the mileage is correct then it's got to be reasonable buy for someone. Will you be knocking anything off for the bumper to be mended? :D and tell the truth, who did it? :-DDave

(lol) (lol) Don't even consider towing a traditional auto like this on an A frame, you WILL destroy the transmission and it WILL be very expensive to fix! D.
