Tap Micro switch

Recommended Posts

Taps vary in design. Some have access to their micro-switches as lennyhb describes; on others (most others?) the switches are located on the lower part of the tap's body and will be beneath the work-surface. In the latter case, even if it's theoretically feasible to change the switch without removing the tap from the work-surface, lack of access often makes this impossible. On some taps, if a micro-switch fails, then the complete tap has to be replaced.

Basically, it's going to depend on the make/model of tap and how the converter has installed it in your motorhome. (Is this still a (year unrevealed) Mercedes-based Auto-Trail Scout?)
