StewartJ
Thinking of attending and staying on CC site for a couple of days. Will be our first show any tips or advice? ATB
Keithl
Hi Stewart, Unless you're planning mid-week then I think you may find the CC site was fully booked months ago, give them a call though just in case. If not you'll have to try and find a small site near by but even then you may struggle. As for the show there is an awful lot to see and if it's your first time and you can camp locally then I would suggest attending for at least 2 days, the first to get the 'lay of the land' and then the second to have a serious look at what you missed the first day. Advance tickets for multiple days are less than the cost of 2 individual day tickets so well worth booking in advance. If you're in either the CC or C&CC then you get more discount than Jo public on advance tickets so shop around! And final tip, take packed lunch and drinks as food at NEC is very expensive and you can queue for ages to get any! If you go on Saturday we may see you there! All the best, Keith. StewartJ
Thanks Keith, OH booked up this morning we are CC members, they are fully booked from Friday with a waiting list for cancellations. We are booked in Wed & Thurs and have Passport tickets, we also have complimentary (booked) parking for our MH at the show for Fri morning. That's what I call service, well impressed I am. Passed on your info re food and drink to OH (I'm away at work onboard ship at the mo) and she said to thank you for the heads up. Cheers for that. Mel B
We use a CL a few miles east from the NEC at Meriden, just the basics but nice and quiet and easy to get to as it's just along the A45. I'm confused by your statement that you've got "complementary (booked) parking for our MH at the show for Fri morning" as the parking is free anyway! :-S

She did try to book on sites in the area but all were fully booked later in the week. ATB
