oldlowie
Saw Paul McCartney at the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff in June. Just after his 68th birthday. He was in fine voice, and had boundless energy, jumping around the stage like a man half his age. He sings and plays as part of a five-piece band, and the sound was just amazing! Audience members' ages ranged from 9 to 90 I reckoned, and he had every one of us clapping, cheering and singing along. A little bit of dancing, too, but the stadium seating is a bit steep 8-) for too much of that :$ Just a thrilling night (lol) I wonder if Lennon would be doing the same, had he lived (?) The woman next to me was around my age and had taken her 80 year old mum to see him. Went to see BB King last year......then 83 years old and he is still touring! howie
Seen 'Elvis' at the Paisley Institute about three years ago and looks nothing like you see in the films. 5'2", red hair and a Geordie accent. Cracking voice though.
