Does anyone know what fuse the fridge uses when on 12v?? mine has stoped working on the 12v supply and just wandered if it was a blown fuse? the van is a Talbot Express 1992 cheers Ali

It really depends on what fridge you've got. For a small (say 40 litres) Electrolux 3-way fridge a 10A fuse should be adequate, but for anything larger at least 15A would be needed. Assuming your fridge worked OK previously on 12v, if you find that the existing fuse has blown the simple answer would be to replace it with a similar fuse. Obviously, if a fault has developed in your 'van's electrical system that has caused the fuse to fail, you'll need to sort that out otherwise replacement fuses will go the same way. But fuses can just die from old age and, if yours has lasted 13 years, it's done pretty well.
