flicka
I would never use Facebook, their security is at best is farsical. I would recommend anyone never to use it in conjunction with Mobile phone. I know there are scaremongers out there, but other users can track where you are located & not all of them are friendly. Using Facebook or similar other sites increases the possibility of Identity Fraud as so much personal information is available to too many. malc d
I've always assumed that people who go on Facebook are not concerned about their privacy. Whatever info you enter onto the net is likely to be hacked into by someone somewhere sooner or later. :-(

Klyne
Facebook is a handy tool for keeping in touch with people. They only have to post one message and all their 'friends' can see and respond. If you are a member of Facebook and select not to have a public profile all that can be seen is the fact that you are a member and your general geographic location. Beyond that its completely up to the individual what they share. Like anything on the internet there is a risk and you just have to be alive to those.
