Overdrive
It's a number of years now since we have been into Norwich (15/16 years), and are going at half term. Has anyone locally got any recomendadtions of where to park a m/h for the day whilst we explore the City centre? Thanks
Guest Tracker
We use one of the park and rides as parking in Norwich town centre is a real pain.
Overdrive
Trouble with Park and Ride - means either leaving dog for too long, or taking dog with us and not all being able to go into Museum together. Was hoping to find something more central, so we can pop back as and when. Thanks
trooper
I see no problem using P/R, its only a short journey into and out of the city and if you drove in it could take you a little while to find parking. You should be able to leave dog quite a few hours as long as its had its (comfort break). I am sure you will be able to do it and enjoy our lovely city
Colin Leake
Forget it we used to live in Norwich and I can think of no place near the centre where you will find room to park a Motor Home even if you manage to drive it down the narrow streets. We have a dog and always use the Park and ride which all cater for Motor Homes etc. Visiting the city centre is well worth the effort.
Overdrive
We're back from our half-term break, having luckily avoided the dog sickness issues on the Sandringham Estate CC Site! Spent a lovely day in Norwich City Centre parking in a carpark above Norwich Railway station, £4.20 per day, no height barrier, patrolled but unmettalled. 10-12 mins walk to Cathedral. :-D How things have changed since we were last there!
