Table edging

Can anyone suggest where I can buy some of the edging that goes round the motorhome tables, the stuff in Diy's is too wide and I have tried O'leary's but can't see it listed on their site or is there an alternative.

Hello 1violet, I am fortunate to live about 10 miles from O'Learys. I went there not long ago with the same enquiry, I was given a sample of edging strip to try against a table I have made, I should have made the table to fit the edging as it is too wide for mine! Just been to my garage and measured the edging strip, due to its' concave shape the outside measurement is slightly wider than the inside, in imperial it's 3/4" inside and 7/8" outside or 19mm inside and 22mm outside.

I suggest the smaller measurements are the ones you would be interested in as that is the bit that butts on to the table edge but it does flatten out a little when fitted. The sample I have is a dark sandy / beige colour and the only one I saw but there was plenty on the roll, they may have more colours.

O'leary's - they have loads more stuff that isn't listed on the website so a call would be in order to see if they have what you want.

 

DIY stuff - you're meant to trim it down one's it's been stuck on, a sharp craft knife does the trick nicely ... don't know if that's possible with your table though.
