colgil
can anyone help with experience of using an ipod touch in France or Spain for internet access in wifi hotspots? Thanks in advance. C.
BGD
We use ours all over Spain regularly, and also did so in France when up there a few weeks ago on tour. Obviously you need to be in a wifi zone (eg MacDonald's etc), but so long as that is the case, we find them to be pretty good, at least for basic email stuff. Not so good just for browsing the web for hours, as the screen is too small...but fine for emails.
AndyB
Fantastic bit of kit. Used it to book 2011 Glastonbury tickets via our Hotel WiFI in Lanzarote !
pkc
I find the the MHF ICampsites application brilliant when travelling, all the sites info is stored on the device, so it can be used without web access. Also I store all my music on it and can play it through a FM transmitter on to the cab radio. It is so much easier to use at hot spots than my laptop, to pick up weather forcasts, Emails, and the daily papers while I am down here in Spain. Best thing I have bought in ages.
