anyone out there have any experience with an omnisat vu qube auto dish.

looks and sounds good apart from the fact that it can be picked up and walked away with (!) (!)

Viewed on at the NEC, a lot of money and as you say very nickable, they do provide a very flimsy "locking eye" to secure it but I'm not convinced.

 

have come across several folk using the Multimo dish -

Am very impressed, one chap had masking tape on its base and a corresponding piece of marked tape for alignment on his dinette table and pulled in all the sat stations without having to chance leaving it outside, took him no time to set up!

 

I'm still weighing up the options.
