nightrider Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 All the members of royalty are a complete bunch of wasters, Princess Margaret spent her whole life living off the generosity of others keen to buy into the royal set, Margaret never ever opened her bedroom curtains herself it was left to a pansy flunkie, she never ever washed her own knickers in the bathroom sink and hung them to dry on the bathroom radiator like normal wimmen do (lol)
Guest pelmetman Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 At least we all get a days extra holiday :D ..........................Glad I only employ er in doors (lol)

Guest Tracker Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 Is it Royal bashing season again already - or has the closed season been abolished as part of the cutbacks! But WHY bash 'em again and again unless the evil green eyed monster of envy is at work once more? Or maybe it is seen as politically correct - something I will never subscribe to!

Big Momma Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 What a miserable bunch you lot are, bet those of you who are still working will take the day off though *-) Are there no Royalists left except me (?) Good on em I say, this generation of young royals at least have a right to wear the uniform of the Armed Forces they represent, and some of them have even seen 'active service'. One minute there are complaints that we were once a Commonwealth but gave it away, Royalty is part of our heritage but you want to just ignore it. No pleasing some is there :-D
teflon2 Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 Tracker hit it on the head, much sour grapes and they can't even make wine with them. Best wishes to them both. John :-D
malc d Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 I say good luck to them too ( although I can't say I'm really interested) I just don't want to hear about it on the TV news every night from now until the end of April. :-(
Guest pelmetman Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 I'd have thought that with all the doom and gloom on the news people would be pleased to hear some good news. Sue

Sue That's the difference Sue. To you, and no doubt many other people, it's good news. To me it's just news. ;-)

Honestly BGD it doesn't do your cause any favours, constantly denegrading the UK, when you have chosen to reside in a country with a far worse financial & unemployment situation.

As there isn't enough cash left in the fund to allow it. If Spain goes down the tubes, the Euro is finished, as Spains GDP is over 11% of the total Eurozone GDP.

But WHY bash 'em again and again unless the evil green eyed monster of envy is at work once more? Or maybe it is seen as politically correct - something I will never subscribe to! i dont think it is seen as being politically correct or that the general public are green eyed with jealousy more like the general public are sick of the lavish amounts of their money being spent on the royals when they are struggling.
nightrider Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 I suppose that Bruce and his lady are in fine fettle and good health enjoying their retirement in Spain. What happens years down the line if either one of them falls seriously ill? will the Spanish medical service look after them, will they have to pay for medical attention themselves? what happens if they run out of money? Fill their diesel tank and head back to the UK to avail themselves of the NHS like a lot of other ex-pats have done who followed the dream.
