jenkothewanderer Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 Hi this post is on behalf of my brother who does not have access to this vast array of knowledge generated from this forum site. He has a CI Carioca 694 and on the 12 volt control panel a red light has come on signifying a blown fuse. He has checked all the known fuses and all are OK , everything on the 12 volt side appears to be working fine. Has anybody come across the same problem , he would appreciate any feedback. He has reset the 12 volt supply by disconnecting and reconnecting the battery but the problem persists. Regards jenkothewanderer.
Stuart Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 I have a CI Cipro which may well be similar installation. Mine has a habit of showing the fuse symbol when there is no problem. Does he know if things are working normally or does he have a charging/ other fault apparent? I.E. is there a real fault or just a stray indication? Stuart
jenkothewanderer Posted November 24, 2010 Author Posted November 24, 2010 Hi thanks for the reply, yes everything seems to be working OK and it appears to be a stray warning but we do not like unsolved mysteries and we was hoping someone out there has had the same feature and possibly resolved it.
