BGD Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 The anti-Smirk Cowell, anti-Chavyl Tweedy and anti-Fix factor "Vote Wagner" campaign appears to be taking over the internet. :D
MandyAndy Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 I feel very sorry for him, all this adoration by people just playing with him and using him as a pawn. Yes he will get the fame for a few months then they will move on to someone else and he will be dumped. No one in the entertainment business will want him as he can't sing or dance. Those that can will still shine through and get the recording deals and the like so for the time being I am finding it rather amusing. Just my opinion of course Mandy
Guest JudgeMental Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 Louie has turned him into a joke character, it is a disgrace. BUT this is probably the most rigged x factor ever, and getting so obvious they are really getting above themselves and taking us for fools... so give Wagner some songs that suit him and VOTE FOR WAGNER! and help wipe the smirk of cowells face :-D he is a teacher and probably a lot more level headed then he appears...enjoying himself? and will make some money as bound to be a few releases and apperances for him...probaly a lot of money coming his way. no need to feel sorry for him and he is my favorite...I liked him in the auditions
art338 Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 It's a bit like the Ann Widicombe saga. Everyone votes for her just to buck the system, and prove that those who seek fame are just a lot of nobody's with personal disorders. Also proving that people power is uppermost. It's becoming apparent from people participation in theses shows that the future of those in power is in threat of becoming critical. Due to twitter and face book etc where a population can be persuaded to out vote someone is very real !!! (There is also a fortune to be made from phone calls) art
Guest pelmetman Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 Wagner, I particulaly liked his "Ride of the Valkyries" :D
Mel B Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 Well, I suppose someone had to start a posting like this! *-) I can't stand the total farce that's going on this year. I understand that some people just hate Simon Cowell and that's up to them. What I cannot understand is that they are happily trying to scupper any chances that some talented singers have of getting a living after the show. Wagner may or may not be a nice chap, he certainly doesn't appear to be 'with it' - if you've watched some of the 'Xtrafactor' shows on ITV2 (shown immediately afterward the main Xfactor shows) you'd realise that! He can't sing properly, he can't dance properly, he is just annoying - it was funny at first but now it is just rediculous. I just hope that Louie Walsh is happy with the 'monster' that he's created - Jedward were bad enough, but this is just moronic.
CliveH Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 I enjoy the early stages - that bit is more like the old "generation game" with people making fools of themselves and the fact that they often think they are brilliant is both excruciating and hysterical (lol) And the Wagner votes are a joke - last year the campaign was to take away the Xmas number one with a stupid song and that was done. This year it seems to be to vote the worst singer the winner. I can live with that - does not bother me - at this stage of the programme a good book is far better entertainment. But we have it on and I find the most annoying thing is the sound levels set for the audience >:-( - the constant shouting that drowns out the comments from the judges is more than just annoying. We went out last Saturday night and switched the programme on on Sunday morning - after two acts we turned it off. It has had its day - if Wagner carries on it will become a travesty of what was once an interesting talent show.
Guest JudgeMental Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 Rage against the machine which crippled the fix factor last year are a great band.... and I am not joking *-) compared to this fix factor drival...... So you find damaged or delusional or downright mad people making fools of them selves entertainment? presumably Christians being fed to the lions would also be deemed entertaining *-)
Mel B Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 Thank goodness he's finally gone!!!!! :-> Shame about Katie though ... :-|
Big Momma Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 Mel B - 2010-11-29 6:29 PM Thank goodness he's finally gone!!!!! :-> Shame about Katie though ... :-| Mary's next for the chop. Good voice but on the wrong show. Had she have been on 'Britain's Got Talent' she could have been another Susan Boyle.
Mel B Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 Yup,I did wonder if it would be Mary going out instead of Katie. My final placings are: Winner: Matt 2nd: Rebecca 3rd: One Direction 4th: Cher 5th: Mary Matt - very versatile and has a very easy to listen to voice, I'd certainly buy his album. Rebecca - is getting very samey with the low notes on one of the songs this week were very shaky, and she's not always 'nice' to listen too as you can tell she's nervous; reminds me a bit of Eartha Kitt. One Direction - not bad but they need more time to gel and for their voices to 'grow' and get stronger. Cher - sometimes I like her, sometimes I don't, I wish she would sing and do less rap as she has an astonishing voice when she does. Mary - she is tending to 'shout' now to get the volume for the big numbers, she was nice to listen to at first but she's not adaptable and just sings the same way time and again.
flicka Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 Who's Wagner (?) Not that I give a t**s. caught a glimpse of Gillian on the Jungle Celebraties, Now there's a real loser.
MandyAndy Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 Wow Mel, Word for word what I would have said about them all and the order I hope they will finish in. For me Cher wouldn't be there now, just don't like her face and at 17 she looks very bitter and angry at times. Mandy
leon Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 its scary taht seems like a small clone of Chryl Cole before her X-Factor makeover, shudder one thing ive loved is from TV Burt having Wagbo
Mel B Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 Hey Leon ... you're surname's not Jackson is it by any chance? Winner of the X-Factor in 2007 ... never to be heard of again? :$ ;-)
Guest JudgeMental Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 Must of cost Cowell a fair bit of cash to "fix" Wagner's departure...call me a cynic but this is so blatantly rigged I don know how they get away with it. Everything is rehearsed, nothing natural about the whole thing.
ips Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 I am made to endure this program and my two peneth is as follows. (1) Vagner kept in for laughs probably by rigged votes (2) Katie (or whatever her name is, you no the one who tries to be posh and sounds like she smokes ten hamlett's a day, who has had an album released in US so is actually a pro and shouldnt have been in anyway) has been in the bottom 3 or so for last 4 ish weeks and has been kept in by probably rigged votes. (3) Cher is nothing like cheryl cole because unlike cheryl she can sing and has stage presence. I think she is brilliant and has a very quirky look but last few weeks has been given some rubbish choices of song IMO probably so she doesnt win. yes I know I am terribly synical arent I. :-S
Mel B Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 If you look back at quite a few of the contestants of years gone by, many of them are professionals or have been in groups etc as a career, or performed in clubs etc, or had training, the X-factor doesn't ban this so why should it be a problem? :-S
ips Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 Just thought it was for amatures but obviously I am mistaken. :-D
Mel B Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 ... it is for amateurs too ... sometimes that IS the problem!!! (lol) (lol) (lol) (lol) (lol)
CliveH Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 JudgeMental - 2010-11-24 10:21 PM So you find damaged or delusional or downright mad people making fools of them selves entertainment? presumably Christians being fed to the lions would also be deemed entertaining *-) No - reading your posts is quite sufficient :->
Mel B Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 AAAAARRRGGGHHHH!!!! OMG, OMG, OMG ..... 8-) Just realised that my registration number looks like I'm a fan of Wagner!!!! WA10 AGZ Bummer ... I'll have to change it....... :-(
malc d Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 I understand that Adolf Hitler was also a big fan of Wagner. Is that the one you are referring to ? ;-)
Guest JudgeMental Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 malc d - 2010-12-03 4:00 PM I understand that Adolf Hitler was also a big fan of Wagner.
