Brock Posted November 27, 2010 Share Posted November 27, 2010 The pinion went on my electric step. My dealer told me my step was an Omnistor step. Rose Awnings sent me the part. It didn't fit. Raised it with the dealer who said that they had the same problem with other vans! They suggested a complete new step. Went to Peter Hambilton who said the steps were made under licence for Hymer by Omnistor. Tried Hymer in Germany but they just referred me back to their UK dealer who ignored me. I felt I was going round in circles. Went back to Rose Awnings. John Rose took it on himself to find the solution. He did, brilliantly. What great service.
