Mad Cow
Hi All, Happy New Year! I haven't been on for a while as we have been trying to organise a house move amongst other things like Christmas. We are thinking of doing 8-10 days in Wales particularly Brecon Beacons, Three Cliffs Bay and anywhere else considered with beautiful scenery. Can anyone recommend a trip they have done with some lovely places to stay?
Guest peter
Most of the northwest coast is very nice and the gower coast in the south.
Big Momma
C&CC site at Brecon is brilliant and has fully serviced pitches if you require one. Bus stop outside site but nice walk into Brecon (half hour) either on footpath via main road or even better via canal towpath :-D Lots of walking and cycling in immediate area and not far from them there hilly things :D
carebear
Caravan Club site in Brecon is called Brynich tel; 01874 623325. Lovely site, think its 2 years now the Caravan club took over this site. As said earlier easy 10 - 15 mins stroll to the town. Gower and Pembrokshire coast is a lovely area.
Hymer C 9.
Crickhowell, is well worth a visit, there is a nice ccc site just on the edge of the town, lovely walks along the canal, if you are any where near worth calling in.
Andy_C
And of course if you don't want to stay on campsites every night you can stop overnight for one night in seven on many of the car parks in Powys. Close to the centres of Crickhowell, Brecon and Hay on Wye for example. See: http://www.ukmotorhomes.net/ukaires.shtml Andy
