Guest pelmetman
1800 looks a nice site, but as my old man lives just down the road at Oirhuela we stayed there :-S Weather was lovely there when we left this morning and got more cloudy the futher south we went with a little rain, but still in shorts and T shirts although the locals are in coats (lol) Apparantly next week should be quite warm and settled.................famous last words :D
Keeshlorane
Hi We are currently enjoying Camping Marjal. It seems very busy with only an occasional vacant pitch appearing and then being filled the same day. It is full of long stayers. (Can see why they want to stay though as it is a lovely site and the weather is great, 20+ degrees by day but starts to cool at around 4pm.) We are due to leave in three weeks so maybe a phone call or text to the site office will be able to tell you more. Good luck Keesh
Arthur Brown
Hi At Marjal at the moment. Lots of long stayers, lots of middle stayers and quite a number of overnighters/two/three nights. It is a nice site but the occupants split it into three groups. The long stayers think they own the site and find it very difficult to even say good morning to the non long stayers. They even close the road to have a street party with loud music for three hours without speaking to those around. The middle stayers are very friendly and all nationalities speak to each other. The brits are helpful to each other with information relating to other places they have stayed. The very short termers don't seem to speak to each other so anyone else has no chance. Free wifi where it can be received. English TV on four channels but it is not Sat TV. They receive the signal via Sat and turn it into a Digital signal which they pipe around the site. Goes off when it rains. Each pitch is serviced with waste and fresh water. Plenty of walks and shops not too far away. A good site with a fast turnover of a small number of pitches. T8LEY
We must be fairly near to you at Marjal, Arthur as we are on the street that was closed for the birthday party. Although not long stayers we did get invited. We find this site a fantastic location for walking and cycling, well organised, very clean, extremely spacious pitches (biggest we've seen) and for an all inclusive price. (You wouldn't be the Arthur who kindly lent us some tv bits, would you?)
