peterandlinda Posted January 12, 2011 Share Posted January 12, 2011 Hi Stuart We have stayed a couple of times at the Coimbra municipal site, last time in February last year. You should be warned that the weather in Coimbra in February is a bit like it is in Norfolk. The site was built for the European cup in Portugal a few years ago and therefore has up to date facilities though, from memory, they weren't heated. Reception is shared with the swimming pool/sports centre with a small cafe and there is a Pingo Doce supermarket within easy walking distance. I seem to remember that the service point was a bit tight and the entrance required driving on the left! The City itself is an interesting university City with lots of museums, a riverside, restaurants and so on. We will certainly return. P&L Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
