CPeachey
Our 2005 Trigano Tribute (Fiat Ducato) has a light mounted outside the van above the sliding door. It has a 12v 10w fluorescent tube. It's switched from the inside. I would like to convert it to LED or replace it completely with an LED fitting. Can anyone point me in the direction of suitable parts please? I'd like to replace the whole unit if possible. Chris

Derek Uzzell
Chris A GOOGLE-search using "led awning light' will retrieve a number of alternatives. Unless your present light is knackered or problematical, I do ask myself why you are planning to spend money swapping to a LED light-unit. A 12V 10W flourescent tube will provide a lot of light for the under-1Amp current drain, will normally be reliable and replacements are widely available. To provide a light output equivalent to your current light, a LED light-unit is likely to draw much the same amount of 12V power and, if a LED light goes wrong (and they do!), it's normally not repairable.
